I usually eat Muesli and Weetabix but for some reason Sainsburys were throwing away cereal dirt cheap

I got 3 KGs of Crunchy Nut, some Cheerios and some Jordan's Country Crisp knock offs.

And Jesus christ all 3 taste like someone just dumped a full load of sugar into the bowl.

I guess it's proof of getting old that I eat this shit and feel like "man I wish this had less sugar in it"

Just learned that the FDA wants to ban the word healthy from cereals that contain more than 2.5g of sugar per serving, which apparently will remove it from 95% of current cereals. And they are suing the FDA for infringing on their free speech.

Yeah living in the US is kinda terrible if you want normal food and don't like HFCS. Sometimes I get something that looks ok and bite into it and surprise mf it's too sweet. Then there's shit that's deliberately sweet and when you eat it, you almost gag because of how sickenly sweet it is.

I just want a normal ass meal.
