Please no spoilers, but Ive never played a Souls game and havent made it out of Limgrave or whatever yet, but NPCs can kill you?

Malenia has killed Elden Ring players over 300 million times. Meanwhile, she's only killed me like 30 times. By my math, I'm 10 million times better than Elden Ring players.

Some of them fight back if you attack them. Better be sure you can beat them before you attack someone near a site of grace or they'll spawncamp you for all eternity. >_>

All these stubborn mfers insisting on beating him at the start. No wonder Im always getting summoned there in the early game, just for the host to get one-shot.

I remember fucking around in Dark Souls 1 in the very beginning and having this issue. I just wanted to mess around and see what would happen and got fucked by auto-save. I loaded the game up a few years later and then immediately got killed by a hostile NPC lmao. Like within 3 seconds of the game loading. Had to make a new file. It wasn't much progress lost though. It was literally like the first 5-10 mins into the game.

I beat him early on. >_> Soon as I got a horse, I sought his head. Hit and run tactics for the win! I could also parry the occasional attack I think.

That was me in Elden Ring lol. As soon as you step out into the open world, Varre is standing there by a site of grace. I hit the grace, then talked to him. He was so rude that I tried to kill him. I didn't expect that he'd be so strong or that he'd still be mad at me when I respawned. I coulda run away, but instead spent twenty minutes flubbing the controls and getting killed by him before I finally killed him.

I mean I just struggled with him for about an hour maybe hour and a half and beat him. First boss I actually encountered was Flying Dragon Agheel, died, then went well lemme try the sentinel lmaoa
