Unless I'm going to work or just down the street, I almost always have my GPS going...

GPS is good at finding speed traps, though I don't speed it helps because I can prepare for the idiot in front of me to notice the police officer last second and slam on their brakes in order to achieve 10 under.

For restaurants, almost never use it since I'll memorize where I'm going first generally. (Since it's probably going to be close to my work or house).

Anything associated with work that's not directly linked to just commuting, I probably turn my gps on just so I know my eta's if asked.

i only use when i need to go somewhere but don't know the way...

I use it pretty much all the time just to help me get around traffic jams

If I'm not going to work or to my local grocery store, I pretty much always use my GPS. I'm awful with directions, even in my local area. Guess that's a consequence of not getting out much.

I rarely have to, although I coincidentally had to use it earlier today after being rerouted from a wreck.

Only when I leave the city

Never use it unless I'm hiking. For driving i like looking at the map beforehand

I only use my GPS when I'm going somewhere I've never been, or when I'm going to my friend's houses/apartments. Everyone I know lives in gated communities, and I have everyone's address tagged with their gate code. I can't remember all those codes.

Only if I have to take a bunch of side streets or something, otherwise never cause I hate the distraction.
