We went on a couple Tinder dates in Febuary. I thought she had a good time. We planned another date February 26th. The day came and I didnt hear from her. I hadnt heard back since she made those plans just assumed she ghosted me turns out she has been in the hospital since Febuary 25th and had heart surgery.

I found out through her Facebook she hasnt told me through texts.

I havent texted or contacted her since Feb 26th. I had just assumed it was over. It is a weird limbo situation where maybe she ghosted me because she thought I knew about the heart surgery and didnt say anything.

The thing is there was no mentions of it on her FB until her dad posted it on her page. And even some of her close friends didnt know about it.

Maybe it was a short notice thing. It may have been emergency. Probably only close family knows.

Just wait for her to contact you.

Does she know you know about her Facebook page? If she had shared it with you when you were dating I don't think it would be weird to leave a get well soon message and then wait. Unless you found the Facebook yourself then it might come off as weird I'm not an expert.

She didnt share it while dating. She doesnt know I know about her Facebook page. I know her name and her FB is the first thing that comes up when you search her name there.

We only been on 3 dates so I wasnt sure if that is enough time to even be FB/Social media official yet.

You know her name. You are allowed to look her up on Facebook, its all out there on social media. That's an automatic nowadays people look each other up online.

There is zero harm in messaging her on there. You were on a date, she didn't show up, you looked her up and found out. That's it. You wish her well and be understanding that it'll be a while for her recovery after a major surgery.

If you hear from her, great, if not, then oh well.

It sounds like from the FB post that the recovery time is going to be 2-3 months. So it isnt likely even if she responded we could hang out until June at the earliest.
