nah, i recall a documentary in which his mom says he was an atheist that was filmed in the 80s or 90s.

You can't really believe the Copenhagen interpretation of Quantum Mechanics, and think there's a God.

As Albert Einstein (who dislike said interpretation) said: "God does not play dice with the universe".

Being atheist hardly had anywhere the stigma in the UK as it does in America. A scientist not being religious is assumed to be the standard these days.
