Man the action scenes were vaguely interesting but that movie was just so awful

I'd say Wick and Hard Boiled are practically different genres

Literally the first gun sequence in the restaurant pwns all the Wick clones combined plus Equilibrium, and I happen to really like that one too.

Then there's the hospital shootout, fuck that was a good time! No reloading = fun

I like the more toned down effects and focus on movement and complicated choreography personally, but both are excellent

That said, while I'd have to watch Hard Boiled again, I doubt it'd be able to reasonably compare to John Wick in terms of stunt work, especially in the sequel

This movie starts out with Chow Yun Fat throwing a boiling tea kettle at someone. You cannot beat that. This is the best gun fu movie of all time
