I said on a post with a video of literal Neo Nazis harassing an LGBT+ event that it's ok to punch Nazis.

And I'm not being cute I mean literal swastika-flag holding, Hitler-saluting, skinhead, iron cross, Nazis.

So I guess Reddit admins are ok with defending actual Nazis but that's an opinion I feel is worth being banned over.

Reddit admins have always been extremely comfortable with defending nazis. They only do something about them when the news starts reporting how comfortable they are being a nazi safe space.

You sure it was an admin? They almost never say anything. Either you get banned or not. They're famous for having some of the worst communication. Redigit (creator of Terraria) was admin banned for an unknown reason, there was a big social media stink about it, he got unbanned, all without ever hearing a word from Reddit admins.

Yeah it was definitely the admin team. But as Ratchetrockonsaid it was probably automodded because enough butthurt Nazis reported it.

Yeah that's almost certainly an automatic bullshit. People got banned on Twitter for similar reasons like their tweet just had the words "punch you" but in context it was a normal tweet that wasn't a threat but the bot couldn't figure that out.

Make a reddit throwaway. You probably want one anyways for all the snowflake mods and arbitrary bans and blocks.

So they're basically doing the same thing as flamebaiters and you're falling for it. They do just enough to stay within the rules, but if you get mad about it, then you're the one that gets dinged.

Yeah these are definitely from the admins and not necessarily related to subreddit moderators. Some things that come under harrassment like following a user around replying to them on multiple different subreddits will also get you hit with this kind of response.

But yeah this tbh. For the purposes of a rule like that, you really can't make exceptions for people explicitly and actively endorsing violence just because it is against a group of people you think are deserving. That would open the enforcement up to all kinds of discrimination.

ngl I never check my reddit inbox because I don't respect anyone at reddit who is a mod or admin, real or bot. Almost all of them are legitimately terrible people with terrible or screwed up motivations.

All of those messages literally don't matter unless your account stops working.

Well it wouldn't be aimed at you specifically. They're just trying to get a rise out of anyone. People do it on CE all the time. Some alt drops a spicy take then never responds to anyone in the topic.
