Literally in the airport lounge, got over an hour to wait till the gate opens, planned on watching/downloading a couple of Star Trek episodes and realised I forgot to pack any headphones.

Since I'm not enough of an arse to subject the public to my noise and nonsense while I'm waiting, I've bought Animal Farm and 1984.

Feel like an idiot, but I've been angling to get these books for a while, so, its not too bad.

Blogiest of blogfaqs, but since I'm saving them for the flight, my boredom still remains.

As long as you're not still in high school, you'll be okay. Otherwise, you're pretty much screwed up for life.

I already know the basic gist of both plots. I'm just hoping experiencing the actual prose itself proves to be a an even richer, uh, experience.

And, no, 26 years old, long past high school.
