Angela Basset is a babe But Black Panther 2 wasn't good enough to win an Oscar in anything They would have caught a lot of blowback because Letitia Wright was seriously injured during production and it affected the way the movie turned out Bassett was good but her character was stupid in the movie. I would say that Angela Bassett is overall a better actor than Curtis, but when considering the two roles theres no real comparison to be made. Marvel roles dont really give an actor a whole lot to chew on, you know? Having seen both Basset put up a better performance then Curtis did objectively.
