diablo 3 is better

If you loved the original you'll love Resurrected. It plays exactly like it.

Game is great and fun if you like looting for the best gear.

I played a little bit of the Switch version, and it seemed to be the same as the original PC version but with modern graphics. I really hate that I had to connect my Battle.net and Nintendo accounts to even start a single player game.

Is it a fun single player game? Never tried the series.

It's great, but unless you really want to play it, maybe wait for a discount.

I bought it at full price for Switch and have no regrets. It's regularly on sale, though. Brought back a ton of memories.

Curious how a newcomer would feel about it. I loved it and got completely obsessed for a few months last year but I also played it as a kid and a lot of the draw was nostalgia. Still, I think it's an all-time game.

D2R is great because it mostly fixes the absurdly tiny stash problem the original release had

And 100000x better than D3

Wish they'd remaster 1 the same way

D2R needs improvements on the server, especially when I run a melee character. Otherwise, I can't see myself ever going back to the original release.

Not that kind of Action RPG, but the isometric one's that are referred to with that acronym a la Diablo and its ilk. I prefer playing them alone but I did play through D3 with a friend which was fun. I honestly have no idea if you'd like them or what to even compare them to. I guess they're kinda like Musou's in the sense that it's you killing droves of enemies but the similarities stop there.

If you like grinding for better stuff and seeing numbers go up give it a try. 3 is the more casual Diablo but I'd sooner recommend 2 or Path of Exile.

Does D2R have the ability to respec your character now or do you have to rerun the entire game if you want a new build? The biggest thing D3 did right was the ability to respec your character at will.

There's a mission in the 1st act that allows you to respec as a reward (not a forced event, you can hold onto it until you want to use it) and you can complete it each difficulty, so you can do it 3 times. Then there's a cube formula to make a potion to do it but it's difficult to acquire the ingredients.
