Still, there's a scene right at the end of the movie where it seems like he bangs on the piano out of frustration. What did that scene mean?

It's interesting that the movie is actually about the reporter who did a journal article on Mr Rogers, and we follow his life throughout the movie, while Mr Rogers himself is only a secondary character although the movie revolves around him. And the movie both opens and closes with him

Is it something like, he goes to put away his sweater after a long day. Then the camera pans to the inside of the closet and its filled with dozens of missing children posters nailed to the inside of it. With one final cut to mr Roger's doing a Kubrick stare before everything going black.
