Because I'm sitting in one right now with probably the worst trainer I've ever seen in my life.

He's not standing up in front of the people he's training, just shouting from the back of the room. He has someone else moving his slides on the PPT presentation.

A lot of "you should know this", "it's not hard", basically talking down to these new hires as if they're already guilty of screwing things up.

I'm just wondering if this kind of GDP training is always like this.

of course training is like that.

GDP is a pain in the ass. It's a pain to have to document everything you do at work. Just let me do my job.

Cant have bad documentation practices if you never document anything.
