Due to the insomnia it's too erratic to be called a "routine" but I try to go to bed at around 10-11 PM so I can wake up around 7 AM

At least that's the ideal scenario

my grandfather had insomnia and had to live with him for i think the last 3 months of my school year until the move to vegas at the start of my freshmen year.

couldn't make loud noise had to keep volume down on my tv/gaming console to avoid waking him up or else get scolded.
also to note, it's not that easy to just get into bed and sleep with insomnia.

I began taking melatonin last year. It helps but isnt even that doesnt guarantee 6-8 hours of sleep uninterrupted.
