i guess, i like the multiple characters and the inventive gimmicks the characters have. i'm not a huge donkey kong fan i have NEVER owned a donkey kong game except for those arcade minigames.

I played it in like 2011 for the first time and it sucked. Very dated. Everything controlled like total garbage.

Liked how big it was, huge levels teeming with collectables that often require coming back with a new character to finish off. Each kong felt very unique with their own specialties and upgrades.

Didn't really have any dislikes as a kid, but looking back on it the performance was kinda ass.

i liked the ambiance. i liked the music. i liked the "world-building." i liked the characters. i liked their gimmicks.

i really liked all of it, but yeah just a hair too much backtracking and performance issues. but i distinctly recall 100%ing it or whatever and getting the super duper golden banana
