Back in 2008 I was thrilled with it to begin with but that excitement faded really quickly.
And I was never positive about it.

Thinking about now.

Gameplay is not the smoothest or slickest and this version of Liberty City lacks punch.

But it has the best story of GTA game and Niko Bellick is arguably one of the best characters in a Rockstar game.

the most boring GTA

The car driving was so shitty it made me stop playing the game. GTAV car driving is so much better.

It's been okay so far. I've been in and out of playing it since last summer.

I hated the driving physics of that game so damn much. I also hated that saving cars didn't work correctly. GTA really needs to take a page from Saint's Row on how they handled storing cars.

I remember I bought it on release day along with a Xbox 360 using my Obama stimulus money, and I loved it from the first time I played it. I liked that it was more grounded than SA and finally had real physics, plus Liberty City had an amazing atmosphere to it. I've been thinking of replaying it again soon, it's been a few years
