As someone with a Fiance with a history of sexual abuse; this is very true. Me and her have a very firm sense of trust and openess, but when it comes to that subject I find it easier for both of us to not talk about the past, but the future.

This is part of why casual sex can be problematic. I am not anti casual sex and I have certainly done it in the past, but there are many reasons it really is not an ideal situation. It is much better to have these conversations with somebody you're in a relationship with and trust. This is a big reason why a lot of women can't have orgasms from casual sex hardly at all, and I don't think it's as good for men either.

It can generally be more frustrating for a woman, and if things are plateauing (or if their partner changes what they're doing before they bust) then they often just say "forget it" and fake it or ask to stop
