Plus getting an in at a major comedy club if they are comedians themselves. It isn't uncommon at all for comedy clubs to be nearly fully staffed by open micers/lower level comedians who want a shot at more stage time

Should he be paying double/triple that, to the point that it prices out other clubs that are also paying $10-15 and hour, where servers will refuse to work there, knowing they can work less hours for the same take home pay at Rogan's place?

He then hires twice the amount of people, gives them all less hours, and everyone bitches and moans that they aren't getting the hours that qualify them for health insurance.

So yes. I guess I am defending the fact that someone is paying someone fair market value for the job they are asking people to do.
