Home boy have not played RE4 where you run away from boulders and huge statues and see Leon doing acrobatic somersaults and flips and shit? Now he'll be able to deflect literal chainsaws with a knife in the remake.

RE6 and RE5 are a lot more actiony than RE4.

I don't think it helped the atmosphere and story were shit as well.

Honestly, if RE6 wasn't called RE6 it would probably be remembered better. It was 100% going all in on the clunky actiony-crazyness and greatly incentivizes you to run around specifically like you're in an popcorn zombie flick.

This is however, like the exact opposite of what you did in previous RE games.

It's not actiony enough since the aiming sucks. 2nd best shotgun action tho. 1st would be metal slug

My main problem with RE5 is the inventory system.

It really is a total blast.

RE5 is pretty fun and a good game overall. As a RE game it falters a bit and it got way too silly as well.

I hated RE5 on release. But later loved it. Like chris and wesker are hilarious in that game.

5 would have greatly benefit from 1 simple thing. Moving and shooting at the same time.

6 is a great game to play in co op with a friend. It offers a 30 hour experience with a friend, and it changes itself up enough to stay fresh that entire time.

Its too bad the revelations games didnt have online co op for the campaign. They would have been great with it included. Raid Mode is already GOATed.

It would maybe be remembered better but it would also barely be played or talked about at all like the other Japanese third person shooters of that era.

I think both Vanquish and Binary Domain are better games than RE6 but barely anyone cares about them.

Both RE5 and RE6 were over the top action, but yeah the "too actiony" argument is kind of hypocritical if they loved most of RE4's gameplay too. I love RE4 for the cinematics, setting, atmosphere, and how different it was from previous games since it evolved the RE formula from the stale old formula that had been used for almost a decade.

Binary Domain is more like Gears of War instead of the 'get up in their face' style like the other two (still has giant mech bosses though) but it's a game with so much heart and I thought it was a really fun ride.

I love 5
I think 6 isn't very great, but it's overhated.
