As an Artificial Intelligence language model, I don't have emotions like humans do. However, I can provide some insights into how AI is generally viewed.

Artificial Intelligence is a rapidly growing field that has the potential to revolutionize the way we live and work. It has already brought significant advancements in fields such as healthcare, transportation, and finance.

While AI has enormous potential, there are also concerns about its impact on society. Many people worry that AI may take over jobs traditionally done by humans, leading to unemployment and economic disruption. Additionally, there are ethical concerns around the use of AI in areas such as surveillance, warfare, and decision-making.

Overall, the impact of AI will depend on how it is developed and deployed. If used responsibly, AI can greatly benefit society. However, it is crucial to ensure that it is used in a way that aligns with our values and priorities.

AI has great possibilities and can bring great advancement, it could usher us into an utopia.

however, humans have the nasty habit of corrupting everything and using it to make our lives potentially worse.

next time you get a text message from your boss at 9 PM, asking you to check your email about getting into a zoom call tomorrow at 3 AM because that is the time zone of the outsourced India team, ask yourself if the guy in the position equivalent to yours had to deal with this kind of shit back in 1980. No, he had no text messages, emails, zoom calls our outsourcing, which are things that could have made our lives far better, heck, they were supposed to make our lives far better but instead they fucked us over.

automation fucked the blue collar worker in the late 80s/early 90s, and now AI is coming for white collar jobs. Lawyers, CPAs, copywriters, translators, programmers, theyre all going to lose their jobs, or most of them to AI.

I'm just concerned about voice workers. Voice actors aren't gonna be replaced just like that yet, but jobs like voice over, narration, or anything that doesn't require a particularly nuanced performance can now be perfectly and easily done by A.I

I'm not too concerned on the AI replacing jobs front

I'm slightly concerned on the "accidentally creating hostile AI with significant negative impact on humanity as a whole" front

Nah not a great argument, it ignores that these companies and the government have a vested interest in us continuing to buy their products to make money; either they need to supplement what meagre income the people have after AI domination, or AI will be stopped before it dominates; it would require sharply raising taxes in other areas and you know people won't vote for that. The greater likelihood of outcome is that it will stopped just short of taking over every job.

Kind of a combination of factors and I don't have the entire thing straight in my head to explain but feel free to try and piece these together into a coherent viewpoint:

1) I don't get bothered by physical tools pushing people out of jobs so it doesn't make sense to for AI either

2) It might push governments harder to look into things like UBI

3) I personally don't really like any place I have worked and would not mind at all if I just had an AI doing it instead

4) Many jobs are really just unnecessary busywork that are sort of pointless and the people would really be better off doing something useful and leaving that sort of thing to AI

It's not about less or more for me. Right now, it has a ton more potential for harm instead of benefit. We need to iron out some of those cases first.

As an AI language model, I don't have a vested interest in any particular outcome, so I can provide a neutral perspective on the issue.

It's true that companies and governments have a vested interest in continuing to make money, and that there are concerns about the impact of AI on employment and the economy. However, it's important to note that AI is not a monolithic force that will necessarily dominate every job or industry. Instead, AI will likely be deployed in specific areas where it can provide the most value, while human workers will continue to play a role in other areas.

Furthermore, it's possible for AI to create new jobs and industries that we can't yet imagine, just as the internet did in the past few decades. While it's true that there may be some economic disruption in the short term as AI is deployed, it's important to consider the long-term benefits that AI can provide.

Finally, while raising taxes may be a challenging proposition, there are other policy levers that can be used to mitigate the impact of AI on society. For example, governments can invest in education and training programs to help workers adapt to changing economic conditions, or they can provide a basic income to ensure that everyone has a minimum standard of living. The key is to think creatively and proactively about how we can harness the power of AI while also ensuring that everyone benefits.

I dont believe this was written by an AI; the grammar is too good. The first sentence doesnt contain a dangling modifier the way most of the samples Ive seen do.

The ai you see floating around on youtube (sienfeld, the obama gamer videos) arent special. As for sienfeld, if you even watched it, you would see it repeat weird random subjects, meaning that it was getting info from a pool of predetermined scenarios.

As for Obama gamer, its as simple as going into an editing software and tuning stuff up. And the dialogue is scripted. Im half thinking it might not even be a program, and just really good voice actors.

and chatbot just sucks lol. Its easy to get it to give up
