People may laugh since it's not that serious, but that's why I love Mario. Everything about him is unconventional in terms of the heroic-archetypes. Sure, he's a little cartoony, inspired by the Popeyes and Mickey's of the world, but he also is played straight a good chunk of the time. He's not a clean-shaven, overly-masculine, buffed-up, deep-sounding chad. Maybe some of us actually like seeing huge beefy man tits in games, ya ever think of that? We don't need some meninist sjw coming in and telling devs how to design their characters.
