In an episode of the little-known 90s sitcom serial "Seinfeld", the character of Elaine fails a drug test because she devoured a meal contained poppyseeds. The poppy is of course the plant from which opium is refined, so that makes sense. But is it really, or rather was it really a realistic impression of the state of drug tests at the time? Poppyseeds are fucking delicious. I hope it isn't true that you basically couldn't eat them if you had a job with required drug testing. ... Copied to Clipboard!
