Do you still work from home?

Since the pandemic a lot of people had transitioned to work from home, however in recent times a lot of companies had either full-time return to office or hybrid.

Are you still able to work from home or have you returned to office?

Hybrid. In the office two days a week. It might go up to three, but a full return for everyone doesn't appear to be on the cards.

I dont but my husband does (civilian job). Even his Navy work is sometimes done via telemeetings, though that is much less common now.

I work for a school district, and they dont allow remote work even though my job could be done remotely about 70-80% of the time.

Never did.

Wife still does, for the most part. She has to go in once every other week because theres some paperwork she needs to physically sign.

Yes, still mostly from home, but I pop at the office once or twice a week to check on my minions. Also theres a damn fine restaurant near the office for lunch.

Hybrid before the pandemic. Went into the office two days a week but always got bored and left mid day.

Full WFH since pandemic. We've downsized from two offices to one smaller office in that time. In office requirement is on a per manager basis but most managers don't care where you work. We do have a couple departments that go into the office most days because they work together better in person.

In-office. Even though I can do 99% of my job remote as IT.

I guess to be able to run up to the server room if shit goes down? Even then its a 10-minute drive from my apartment. I dont get it.

I do. Never going back to the office. Sued a company that tried to force everyone back in the office and won.

From my experience, unless most departments can wfh and dept managers are on-board with the idea, then no one gets to wfh. As dumb as it sounds, people will complain about how unfair it is that IT gets to wfh even if their job duties require them to be in office.
