Ok so the rules are pretty simple but I'm always finding things that might improve it, but that might also make it worse. Since posts on gamefaqs are numbered, the premise of the game is that post number = head of state of a country. experimenting with it today I decided to add the following rule, your karma is the # of days into the the head of state's tenure. so since my Supersex420 account has 78 karma, if I make the 6th post in a topic (and that topic is America), my post is 78 days after march 4th (when the 6th president of the US took office). so my post is may 21st 1825, for example. I guess the idea is that if there is no event, birth, or death, you 'can't' make the post in that topic at that post. if you have enough karma to cover the entire tenure you leadership your post can be any date, but i don't have a way to pick the specific date short of the person being able to just say "this date". if a person is born a certain date, you can check to see when they die and post somewhere else where the head of state number would correspond to the person's death. different countries are involved, but this is a summary on the most recent development --- Please join the 100 Presidents community board and contribute to the project! Suppose there are two topics at 8 and 11, that represents the time of the US Mexico war. So, in a way, you can say those two topics are at war. This is where the reasoning gets more complicated, and honestly I'm not smart enough to push it past the point where it gets really interesting (but I've seen a glimpse) A basic combo would be: South Sudan summons Kenya envoy (headline South Sudan leader number = 1 Kenya leader number = 5 So, if someone makes a new topic and has one post, someone can post in a topic with 4 posts and brings it to 5- that post becomes the Kenya envoy, so to say.
