It's only considered a rush job because it came out after RE2make and is pretty much the same game but shorter. If RE3make came out first, people would have been blown away. Fun gameplay, beautiful lighting and graphics, fun story. It's just a kickass game. Even the voice acting is good. That wasn't fun to me A stupid guy still chases you in 2, he just does it in a much more boring way. the mr x system was clearly made intending to be utilized for nemesis but not actually utilized because they made the game a hallway sim to save time so it wouldnt have worked ... I'm pretty sure they nerfed Nemesis due to the Negative Feedback Mr X got from people who sucked at the game. Nemesis is flat out easier to avoid than Mr X AND you have a dodge move AND you're rewarded for taking him out.... The game encourages you to fight him.
