Jump rope imo. Lightning dodging gives you a fairly generous window to dodge the bolts for however many times it took for the ultimate weapon, and the hardest part was just not getting bored/keeping your attention to the game instead of being distracted by whatever is going on in the background.

Jump Rope. Jump Rope isn't just the hardest in Final Fantasy, but the insane amount of jumps needed to actually get everything, 1000, makes it one of the hardest accomplishments in gaming period. It is absolutely the bane of any IX randomizer far more than anything else.

Lightning is only "hard" if you have bad hand-eye coordination. I would be embarrassed to view it as anything but easy for anyone not under the age of 10.

Jump Rope

Lightning dodging has a location that triggers a bolt every time you run there so you just run in a circle and get all 200 in a few minutes.

Jump Rope.

Lightning Dodge isn't hard (with no encounters) just dull

I think I only did the Jump Rope once and found it legitimately difficult

I remember when I was trophy hunting IX on PS4 it took me several hours of jump rope to finally hit the 1000 jumps. I kept getting to 500+ and then I would mess up the timing and have to start over. Once I did it, I never wanted to do the jump rope minigame again. Every playthrough since I just skip it.

I remember looking up trophy guides for a tip to get that and I just flat out got told to play it through PSNow (or whatever it was where you can play on your computer) and use a script to make the game do it on its own.

Oh, man I forgot this one. I also didnt like the thing in IX where you had to control the regent and make him put the weights on the scale (you had to move without being seen).

I've heard that it's much easier to complete the jump rope minigame on Disc 3 because the angle is easier to see when Vivi lands to time the next jump. I did it at the beginning of the game and just kept going until I got it. I remember it being much easier to complete on PS1 than it was on PS4.
