My big take-away from that game was the party shitting on Luke for being tricked into destroying that city, and even the little saint kid who unsealed the spot in the first place being like 'I can't believe you've done this'. Or tell the person who is literally the boss of the person she owed. She's also responsible for all the horrible things Mohs and the God Generals did since she was feeding them all of that information. Tales has this obsession with shitty traitor characters that get forgiven for all of the horrible things they do instantly when the issue could have been solved if that character just talked about it from the start. She does the whole gold digger thing for Luke, but ultimately she stays with him to the end as something of a redemption. But it didn't feel particularly convincing I think? If people expected her to be some proper person, like do we really need one more Tear in the party? I don't get why everybody needs to adhere to the same morality. I think it's perfectly fine for there to be selfish people too I was more interested by the growth of Luke and his relationship with ppl like Jade or Guy. I think the peak was actually stuff like ~~Jade essentially being Luke's dad and growing into that role as they journeyed.~~ Van was really forgettable til the realization that Luke somehow got the best version of his life despite what Luke really is, which makes him very pitiable. Luke himself was also tricked, but it was kinda his fault that he was so apathetic about it to that point, where his carelessness is really what leads him to not properly fact checking and leading a bunch of people to their doom. To say it's not his fault entirely was like way wrong.
