Repairing our crumbling roads is a good start. Sacramento's roads after these last few storms had an insane amount of potholes.

After living in Michigan and currently living in Sacramento this is kinda funny

like yeah we had an incredibly terrible storm that went on forever and fucked up our roads.. thats literally every winter in a lot of other states

Kinda amazing how the people of the past were able to building the train systems so fast. IIRC The majority of the NYC subway was built it its first 20 years.

California needs to invest in 1) water desalination to increase reservoirs 2) energy 3) limit or ban non-californiana buying California property

Right now we buy a lot of energy from neighboring states. We need to talk to Nevada and come up with a nuclear investment in the middle of nowhere nevadat that we finance.

I'd also like to point out how beautiful this state has looked with all the rain this year, the hills and mountains are actually green again. They been yellow for the last decade.

Cali is constantly going off about being the 5th largest economy in the world. "We don't have money" isn't really an excuse they can use.

Not republican and I do care about it, but I think it's a slow process switching to clean energy

It doesn't matter when the economy doesn't actually feed into the government for public works. For that to happen taxes have to occur, but, unsurprisingly, more than 100% of the gains due to inflation have gone to the rich and their taxes have gone down. Thus you end up in a situation where every right-wing political stance is proven wrong demonstratively yet all of them will shriek about how it's the "everyone but them" is wrong.
