Board 8 > What the heck is up with the Switch Pro Controller?

I'm looking to replace mine due to drift, and do they just not make this thing anynore? Every model is being sold 3rd party for around $100 or more, and Nintendo's own site is sold out.

Pro Controllers are very easy to fix, as long as you know how to use a screwdriver.

I may look into this, though this search has caused me to see a bunch of people say this 8BitDo Ultimate is better than the Switch Pro anyways, so I'm gonna research that too.

Just wanna bump this back up to say that after about 5 hours, the 8BitDo Ultimate Switch Controller is definitely better than the Switch Pro Controller.

If you have a lot of time on the SPC, the gut reaction to the feel is a bit off, but it quickly adjusts. The buttons, sticks, and triggers all feel a lot better, as does the grip. I don't like the +/- placement as much, but the controller has programmable back buttons I assigned them to, which is better.
