Holy moly

beautiful movie I bc my opinion, Pitt and Leo (not to mention the BEVY of other appearances, all well acted and cast imo), as well as subverted all my expectations for not only a Tarantino film but film in general as far as writing knowing nothing going in

one of my favorites already, cant wait to rewatch

two things

once again I went in about as blind as could be the most social media I get is here and yall are questionable at best as a group

How did it subvert your expectations for a Tarantino film, though? As much as I like the film, the last 20 or 30 minutes are generic Tarantinoness, to the point that the film itself calls it out.

I've heard people say negative things about the movie, so I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it for myself.

overall, while it isn't one of my favorite Tarantino movies, I still think it's really good, and I'm glad I gave it a chance.

as far as it being a Tarantino movie, I would say it had as much violence as you can suspect, but if you know the real story around Sharon Tate, then that's a different story.

I guess I was speaking more on the way he built the movie up to its climax, kicking In much later with classic Tarantino vibes and music scores idk, I need to rewatch it a few times because I was on shrooms yesterday

It's crazy that Sharon Tate actually got murdered, had no idea it was related to real events

Cult aside, it seemed kinda cool to have a hot hippie harem >_>
