It started yesterday and is worse today. I havent had one in a while. It feels like every single bone in my body is aching, like my muscles are spasming, my fingers are stiff and painful. Even my ankles hurt. The pain is especially worst from my hips down the back of my legs. I just want to stay in bed but I have work to do and getting pressure to get it done. I didnt do much of it yesterday because of the pain. I have a meeting with my boss I have to prepare for. I dont know where Im going to get the strength.

B12 and Magnesium, specifically methylcobalamin and magnesium malate.

Any idea of the cause or do you just get to live with the joy of knowing this can randomly happen?

I have a lot of lower back pain as well but no cause. They do think its possibly endometriosis but the only way to diagnose is by surgery. My OB wont do it though he wants me to see a GI doctor first to rule out GI issues. I have an appointment next month. Its a pain to get through these processes. I hope PT helps you heal so you can run your shop.

I did have plans of going freelance as a recruiter. I have a very big network of people I could reach out to who are leaders and executives of their companies and would be able to pull strings and get contracts for me. Unfortunately the market has gone to shit with all the layoffs. Companies are disengaging from outsourcing their hiring. But once the economy starts to shift back I am ready to take the leap. Im thinking that might take a year or so to stabilize though. Until then I at least have the benefit of working from home. I have one more meeting and then I can change into my pajamas and work on the couch lol

Yes I do take both of these but Im not good at remembering to take them every day. Ill try to up them. I havent had a flare up this bad in a while so I started slacking.

Generally when the weather changes. Like rainy days or sudden shift in temperatures. Today its raining so I started my flare up tomorrow. I can tell when its going to rain before I even look at the weather app based on how my body feels. Sometimes it will not show its raining but my body says different, and sure enough it will rain.

Fuck me I took Advil and a codeine to cope. It wore off and Im in so much pain again. I havent done anything at work. I dont want to take more codeine either or I wont be able to function. The pain is so bad I just want to curl up in a ball.

As someone who has similar autoimmune/inflammatory problems I'm sorry you're in pain.

These days I'm trying to find ways to cope probably more than I'm actually living my life.

Sorry to hear that. My arthritis always flares up with weather changes too-- it seems specifically whenever a low front comes through that I wake up extra sore, and what do you know, it stormed last night. :(

Well it might not be fibro. I was starting to feel chill and my temp shows 101F. Taking a Covid test now.

Covid test was negative. I feel shitty and a headache starting. Maybe the flu? Ill test again tomorrow. My throat has started hurting as well.

My mom has that definitely seems like it sucks

I guess I have the flu. 102 fever, body aches and very sore throat today. Took another Covid test that is negative. It makes sense. While I do get body aches when it rains this was far worse than usual.

Im pretty sure this is strep throat. I had this once over a decade ago but its the same symptoms. I still have a 101.6 fever and my throat hurts so much to swallow and its hard to talk. I have some white spots on my tonsils. I already have a prescription of penicillin that Ive been taking for something unrelated though and I have one more day on them. Hopefully it will help treat it.

flu season should be over already, i would think.

the peak is january-february. flu season ends by april or may.
it will run out of people to infect until next year.
