Currently in Novigrad, just rescued Dandelion.

I have a few options for side quests. I can talk to Dandelion or Triss, or go do some of the contracts that I'm of the correct level for.

Build is mostly Signs with a side of Alchemy. Missing a few monster ingredients to make some of the enhanced/superb oils. Still haven't found a merchant that sells buckthorn, so that's annoying.

Igni/Aard/Quen sign intensity is maxed. No alternate modes because I can't figure out how to make them work with the fast signs mode. Axii is only upgraded to the level 3 force persuade mode.

I have a point in the fast attack damage up and the perk that gives me 20min of healing with food, but i don't currently have enough skill slots to equip all of them.

Enhanced Griffin set/swords for more Sign intensity. Look dumb though. Is there a visual swap I can do, like in FFXIV with the glamour system?

EDIT: My greatest achievement so far was accidentally triggering a level 32 wyvern on a random quest from a ? on the map, and instakilling by knocking it out of the sky with Aard and it landed in the river. I was level 15 at the time.

i did see a mod that would allow me to have way more active skill slots. should i bother with it?

I don't think there are visual equipment swaps. Because a lot of gear (especially generic doublets and stuff) looks bad, I always went with the Ursine witcher gear for a badass heavy swordsman look. Plans for witcher equipment are all over, though, so you'll probably have fun finding some.

Is it possible to have triss go there without romancing her?

Get the Temarrian gear in White Orchard if you can afford it. Best equipment stats and relic bonuses at the point of the game, plus it looks damn badass.

You have to progress the questline to meet her, accomodate her and then do not instigate her into a conflict.

The level 4 gear? i'm so far beyond White Orchard at this point.

I helped her escape with the mages but didn't ask her to stay with me.
