Truly under rated game.
Terrible maps, awful guns, horrendous net code.
Yet somehow it was incredibly fun and I spent hours and hours playing. I was even part of a few Gamefaqs tourneys.

Nah it was trash

Multiplayer mode was amazing. Yeah I dont remember the the maps being all that great but the different hunters were so amazing. So memorable I can tell you from memory the differences.

Samus - Homing missles
Electric guys weapon healed and he could fly in zero gravity with his morph ball, also catching a foe in the center of the triangulation of his bombs was an instant kill.
Rock guys magma gun was kind of weak but I think he had Dot and morphball could scale walls
Red guy turned invisible while stationary and morph mode had a great finishing lunge
armoured sythe guy had turret morph ball which was dope
ice guy froze
yellow ribbed guy had a better power beam

I liked wrecking scrubs with shadow freezing Noxus and finishing them off with a headshot from the imperialist.

Weavel's my favorite Metroid character. i was reading about him, and the Hunters game designer said he actually intended for him to become a main character if they ever got around to remaking the first Metroid again. and i think Sylux's ship shows up after Prime 3? i don't remember, but those two are probably still around

The multiplayer was excellent

The multiplayer was extremely addicting albeit very unbalanced lol.

Multi-player was dope bc you only needed one copy of the game but other peeps with a DS could still play.

Yup, the campaign was alright despite the repetitiveness. Multiplayer was fun before hackers ruined it

I played the greeb electricity dude who turned into a pillbug type thing.

I remember the sniper being very unbalanced.

The multi-player mode was awesome; it was neat getting to play as other characters that functioned differently than Samus.

Never got into it, but I remember telling myself I'll come back to this game after they expand on the hunters in it.

Where is Metroid: Sylux saga?

iirc, Sylux popped up in Federation Force as well, so he's still an active player in the story
