They offer Jiu Jitsu, Muay Thai, wrestling and MMA. Vids so far seem good. 40 bucks for one class, 180 for a month plus 100 for registration.

They better have some professional fighters if theyre charging just under $200 a month lol. Thats a fuck ton if youre not getting top of the line training

that being said, its extremely fun and a good way to stay fit.

Yeah that really is quite pricy. How are their google/yelp reviews? Does the gym offer anything besides classes such as weights and other equipment?

Aren't all fight gyms around that much a month? It's a very pricey hobby.

Maybe do a couple trial classes to see. They may even allow you to deduct that amount from the full month, if you decide to book.

He had a good ammy record, but 1-2 as a pro. And his win was against someone who had never competed, and that guy went on to be 0-3.

that being said, hes still probably levels above the average Joe.

how far is the gym? How many classes a week will you attend?

I don't know yet. I want to ask to observe the first time and then try one class.

They should be cool with that.

heres the schedule for my local gym. They have multiple UFC fighters training there, including Stipe Miocic. Similar cost.

you should have the opportunity to train a couple times a day, at that price. Probably not worth it if youre only able to make it once a week. But just my 2 cents. Hopefully it all works out https://gamefaqs.gamespot.com/a/user_image/3/8/6/AAfYeXAAEKsi.jpg

It probably depends on the location but that's pretty standard for a good gym here in the Bay Area. My small Muay Thai gym was $150 a month. AKA, which does have pro fighters like Cain, Khabib, etc. is about $160-$180 depending on what you want your membership to include, going from memory.

I would definitely attend a few trial classes first, but not necessarily just to see how good the instructor is. Those types of gyms tend to be magnets for tryhard steroid bros that will absolutely not hesitate to injure somebody in a sparring match because they're trying to be macho rather than scaling to an appropriate level of force for a collaborative learning exercise. Best to get a sense of how much that school allows students to injure other students in training before you sign yourself up for a long-term neck or back injury.

yeah Id say the price point is probably $100 a minimum. But if youre almost doubling that, its gotta be worth it

This is unfortunately true. Got can openered by a dude that had 50+ lbs on me, and my neck was fucked for weeks.
