I didn't have any issues with it. You can just pick up new weapons.

They do break pretty fast but there are tons of weapons. Save a couple of your best for when you need them.

It can be annoying but not worth the tantrums that some have around here.

Also the master sword regenerates and lasts a lot of hits before it temporarily breaks. This is for the upgraded version.

There is also an energy axe you can farm from a shrine (you just have to beat a robot) that does more damage than the master sword

I never played the dlc so idk if some more powerful stuff is in it

If you treat team as special items worth hoarding and mess up the gameplay loop by refusing to use high-power weapons when you get them, yes. Youll get frustrated.

If you treat them as ammo to be used and replaced with other, readily available ammo (sometimes better, sometimes worse) and further use that decision-making to decide if some battles are worth fighting or not now, no. The core gameplay loop with be fun.
