Do you agree or disagree with him that a film nominated for a razzie is a weird choice to be featured at the oscars?

Well, first of all, I hate thats the only investigation the Academy has because I feel like, even though they keep telling us the members are diverse, I dont believe it, he said. It cant be. It cannot be. It cannot be when you dont see Viola Davis has been nominated for an Academy Award before, but this particular character she played in The Woman King. Viola Davis is in her 50s. So outside of what she did with just the dialect and the acting, the physicality Its just very unfortunate that we keep and just being honest, especially as Black people, we want to be recognized by the Academy so bad because we know what it does for our bag. You know what Im saying?

Lil Rel seems to think that someone else should have been bumped out of the category instead of Andrea though.

Im not going to say anything, but its a movie nominated as a Razzie, Howery said, referring to the several Razzies nomination received by Anas movie Blonde. That doesnt make sense to me.

Its just and thats somebody I did film with. I did Deep Water with her, with Ben Affleck. Amazing. Im just talking about the Academy. What are yall doing? Come on, fam. For real? he added.

That category is a shitshow.

de Armas was fine albeit in a shitty movie. And got a pseudo-Razzie nomination in the Worst Screen Combo thing.

Riseborough campaigned for herself and got nominated for a movie no one (Academy members included) saw.

And Michelle Williams's nomination is just category fraud. I get the studio put her in the category but she should be in the Supporting Actress category.
