Theres a little collection of that and Rhapsody on sale on the Switch. I remember always seeing it on Gamestop racks years ago and it seemed interesting. Worth 30 bucks for the two of them?

I preferred Disgaea to it, but it was a perfectly fine game from what little I remember of it. Haven't played Rhapsody.

It says right here in Matthew 16:4 "Jesus doth not need a giant Mecha."

It is fun as a tactical RPG. You can do neat tactical maneuvers. The characters are vivid and charming, with a thoughtful story. However, it doesn't have any mature or adult themes. It's kind of a game for 13-year-olds. I wouldn't spend $15 on it, maybe $9

I prefer it over the original Disgaea. Don't get me wrong, I love Disgaea, but at the same time La Pucelle had a couple things that Disgaea didn't have. Maps weren't limited to a single room. Some maps were several rooms connected together. Something that wasn't really continued in any of the Nippon Ichi games afterwards which was a damn shame. I also like the crystal system where you line crystals to form a connected path, and destroying all of them would perform a godlike attack.

There was that makai kingdom room thing but yeah, I think only those two have them among their srpg style games.
