I played the game back in the diggity day and loved it. but the issue with the show is its just making me think about the game. and now im wondering if the show is more or less just going to be a playthrough of the game. which i think i might rather do.

also bella ramsey is terrible. i only watch for Pedro Pascal

Other than the people that are mad that she's not as bangable as the fake character in the game, you're definitely in the minority when you say Bella Ramesy is terrible.

i don't think she plays the part well. maybe she'll grow on me.

Ashley Johnson did an amazing job and I think the voice is really what most people miss, but Bella is nailing the attitude and mannerisms. She's witty and cringe as you'd expect a 14 year old to be.

The show's super good so far. It's not a straight 1:1, and it's expanding upon things in the game, which I enjoy. I think I'm liking all the new scenes more than the stuff that's straight lifted from the game (although that probably makes sense since the game stuff I've already seen in the game).

Ellie's actor does a good job. She doesn't look the same as her game equivalent, but she's got the personality down. She feels just like Ellie whenever she talks.

its been a long time since i've played the game, and i didn't play 2. i wonder how much the show and game will deviate going forward, and if it'll carry into TLOU2. and will there be a TLOU3? thinking emoji

all i could think of during the intro was that it felt like a shot for shot remake of the game's intro. which honestly i thought was cool. but i wouldnt want a whole show of it

They've confirmed a second season, yeah. The show isn't deviating too much so far, beyond episode 3 which kinda does its own thing with some side characters. But the main story is hitting the same beats.
