The three primary types (Bokoblin, Moblin, Lizalfos) were extremely dynamic in the way they interacted with Link and the world around them. A Bokoblin with a bow is a completely different enemy than one with a sword, for example. Enemy variety should be improved over just the three main enemies plus the occasional keese, chu chu, octorok, lynel, and wizzrobe. Skeletons coming out of the ground at night time can fuck off back to Ocarina, though. The main problem with the overworld enemies isnt necessarily the lack of variety, though. Its that theres nothing to gain and isnt particularly fun after the first few battles. Accidentally alerting an enemy camp just gets in the way of my exploring. Id get rid of the random enemy camps and have most overworld enemies guarding something actually desirable, in unique designed environments and with specific enemy placements that make the fight interesting. --- .____ [____]===0 . . . .
