Managed to get you fairly invested in the new characters, and when the older characters showed up, it never really demeaned them, nor did they completely take over the plot. They struck a good balance. Ill say that Beats VA started off kind of bad, but it seemed better later in the game. I dont know if they record sequentially, but itd make sense. Its also possibly I just got used to it. Its funny because all the VAs (iirc), reprised their role, but it might have been like a decade+ since they did VA work for them, in DDD.

Gameplay felt more enjoyable than the OG on DS, I never played it on Switch. I mostly played on Hard. I think I switched a couple of timed on times segments, because they were hard and I was running out of time even when I was doing fine. A few of the endgame bosses were two distinct battles with no checkpoint between them, which was irritating, but for the most part, it was relatively fair, just felt like cheap shots.

Speaking of endgame, the game crashed after the credits. Not a hard crash, but stuck on a white screen. Seems to be a thing on non-Windows devices, I was playing on Steam Deck. Bad timing, since I dont have my PC right now. I doubt I have any interest in doing 100%, but Im sure theres at least something post credits Id like to do, so its a shame.

Okay so what I did was go into the movies file, and replaced the ones that made the issue with another that wouldnt cause an issue, though that means I have to go back and watch the scenes I missed.

Another Day wasnt too bad, Tsugumi was the hardest by a lot. It felt like a huge difficulty ramp. I read something that said if you let yourself get caught by the bubble, it basically gave you a free opening, and that let me win finally. For the other postgame bosses, Susu took me a couple of tries, and Ayano a few more, I had to remember the gimmick of the fight. Shiba I might have actually beaten first try, but it took forever.
