Gobstoppers12 01/27/23 7:09:07 PM #7:	The only decent part of the live action show was the ~~Ballad of Fallen Angels~~ episode, and even then it was only good for ~5 minutes...because it was mostly a shot-for-shot remake of the scene from the anime when he ~~returns to the church to face Vicious.~~ And even THEN it was only good until the awful Netflix writers decided to make it a "TWIST" that Julia is the true villain and Vicious is just a pathetic loser who whines and gets his ass kicked all the time. Took one of Spike's coolest moments from the whole series, where he gets chucked out of the church window but leaves a live grenade behind, and turns it into him just...falling like a loser with no backup plan. And then Vicious is a hostage and JULIA IS THE TRUE VILLAIN DASHSAKHDASKH ~~I cannot stress enough how much I hate that they made Julia into the 'real' villain and made Vicious useless and non-threatening. Then they see the spirit of the show replicated in live action and realize it's not really that serious. High-tier animation, great dub acting, excellent soundtrack, engaging world building and thematic elements... It's just overall very good.
