Ysee, this is what kills me.

I never have anything to talk about. But then, it feels like nobody else has anything to talk about either. People just go on and on about the most mundane aspects of human existence and its like...is this what conversation is? Just...ping-ponging random updates about jobs, school, family, who's fucking who.

"Oh my aunt peggy's getting married"

"Okay cool"

*prolonged awkward silence*

I'd like to say I'm pretty great at conversations but I've been recently made aware of people who don't necessarily conversate, but rather just talk and wait until they can talk some more and try to put that into perspective for myself

To be honest, I don't give a shit about 90% of what people tell me lol. But it makes work pass by faster and if it helps build good rapport then so be it.
