Surprised I haven't seen anyone talking about it anywhere

Im probably going to wait for the season to end to watch it, but Im definitely super excited for it!

Love how they got some of the magical items in and the changes they made for Vasselheim since it took place pre-briarwoods.

I just started Crit Roll last year and am still in the chroma conclave storyline so I'm curious if this season will go past where I'm at. I actually just got to the episode with the 'bidet' joke last week so that was well timed.

I haven't ever actually watched any critical role, minus clips here and there. The clips have been great but I'm hesitant to actually watch it because I really don't think I'd enjoy watching people play D&D. But turning there campaigns into a cartoon is top fucking notch.

The recap song for S1 is pretty great if nobody has seen it

I've been a critter since the Chroma Conclave attack was current in their live play show. I'm glad to see season 2 err away from some of the overly gratuitous humor from season 1. There are jokes that are amazing at a play table that get taken a little too far in cartoon form. But the focus on plot and having the jokes be fewer and far between helps them land a lot better, so I'm currently really excited to keep watching.

Waiting for more episodes to drop then I'll watch

Wow they are really changing some things up in this arc. Still really good so I'm not upset about it but some of these changes are huge and I'm curious how they will change things.

I feel like this storyline is going to span more than just this season unless there are more episodes than last season.

Yeah they have already said the Chroma Conclave will be seasons 2 and 3.

As someone who doesnt follow the live action stuff they do is Mighty Nein an entirely separate thing? Either way Im already interested based on how good Vox Machina has been

Vox Machina season 2 is miles superior to the first, but I have to say that it suffers from assuming its audience knows the campaign, which I don't. A lot of the world seems only partially explained, and as a result, the first half of the season I think seesawed a lot between meaningful and "stuff happening". Finally digging in and concentrating on a slower, more deliberate pace has been really helpful.

Also, the first smatterings of the Vex and Vax backstory were so laughably bad that maybe it poisoned the well for me, unlike other characters thus far.

Totally different characters. My understanding is it's the same world but a long time after the end of campaign 1.
