a-c-a-b 01/22/23 6:29:36 PM #1:	I've been playing Ragnarok and there's a part where Kratos is talking to Freya and tells a story about how he once had a wife and daughter but was tricked into attacking a village, unaware that they were there and ended up killing them. Kratos called out to Ares and offered his servitude if Ares would kill his enemies. Ares followed through, slaughtering the barbarian army and "gifting" Kratos the Blades of Chaos. From then on, Kratos followed the will of Ares, conquering and attacking what Ares said to. This eventually led to his forces attacking a small village that worshipped Athena. He went into the temple and slaughtered everyone. It was only after that he discovered his wife and child were inside. They were meant to be home in Sparta, but Ares brought them there so Kratos could become the ultimate warrior by severing his earthly attachments. I'll probably check out the earlier games in the near distant future. I'm pretty sure everything about his past talked about was something from the games. If you're playing a story heavy game like Metal Gear, Last Of us/God Of War and you're confused about the story then of course you're going to be confused if you haven't played the previous entries.
