If its just McDonalds you probably want some burgers and fries. Maybe chicken.

Also they dont need 4 minutes. They can decide in less than 15 seconds.

The worst is when its a stupidly simple menu also. Ive seen people stare at a Raising Canes menu like theyre trying to solve an algebra equation.

Yes! Like you could see the menu the whole time you were in line. Why didn't you think about it before you were at the register!?

So you people think that its completely fine to sit in a drive through, for 240 seconds, with nobody in front of you, and people piling up waiting behind you, while you dont order your food? And that you shouldnt walk in and decide to decide in a place where you arent disrupting people? Is this what you people are trying to say?

Yes, it is okay to do that in a drive through when it is literally what drive throughs are for. Thats why the menu is there. Next youll be complaining people hold up the line by waiting for their food to be finished and handed to them, or by paying.

do you wait in a queue at other places, and then when you get to the front of the queue and are asked what you want, you tell them hold on, Im still deciding?
they would tell you to go to the back of the queue. To keep the queue moving.

People like you are the problem on the road.

Do you people also think its OK when the person giving you your order says please wait around the side in the waiting bays while we prepare the rest of your order, that you respond with no, Im going to wait right here, in the drive through, so nobody else can get their food while I wait for mine? Because thats the vibe you are giving

This is perfectly acceptable since there are options to choose from. I wouldn't expect a snap decision. But because I'm impatient, I don't like to wait in drive-thru lines either. So I do the smarter option. Order my food in advance and either have it carried out to me in a parking lot, or pick it up inside at the pickup line/rack.

im just saying, its common courtesy not to block queues. Didnt expect the usual crowd to cry about it

that doesn't help the next car get their food faster, since there's only really like two things that can possibly be a wait, fries or chicken, which the car behind you likely has fries as well.

pulling cars forward just keeps their drive-thru timer down, and once they run out of bays the next car is just waiting at the window until after the cars ahead have food brought to the bay.

How do you know they were looking at the menu and it wasn't the employee telling them to wait? I've had that happen a few times, looks like I'm just chilling there but the employee was busy and told me to hold on.

well your anecdotal experience is countered by my anecdotal experience where I have had my order handed to me immediately after the person in front of me drove off

Well atleast they didn't run out of gas. I've had that happen and had to get out and push alone. Also 5 minutes? That's the minimum I have in my head, that's why I always go inside for fast food. Plus when they fuck it up you're already inside.

5 minutes before deciding to drive to the ordering window, so then the time to place the order and then receive it. 5 unnecessary minutes. Multiple people could have got their food in that time
