SHRlKE 01/16/23 6:17:48 PM #12:	I played it. I like the atmosphere but each run was just too samey to be fun by the time you are going through it for the 10th time. To put it in perspective hades is probably my most played game of the last few years and I completed that 100% so I dont have an aversion to rogue likes. I just didnt find the gameplay loop of returnal to be that fun which is a shame because I really wanted to enjoy it. I did read a story recap recently and seems like there is a lot to do in the game but waaaaaay to much replaying the same things over and over again for my liking. <cite>SHRlKE posted [p:970889305] in Have you p... I think the fact there is so much dialogue to unlock and the upgrading of the house that kept thing ticking over for me. And yeah once I beat it once it was pretty easy to beat on subsequent sittings. I think I went 20 hours without beating it and then got all the subsequent victories in only a few hours once I did and learnt some of the good combos / synergies. <cite>SHRlKE posted [p:970891559] in Have you p...
