I think of cosy things, like laying in a moving RV in a storm.

When I played Football Manager, I thought of the matches, tactics, squad.

I think of what I want to work on with my thief fan mission, and that will put me to sleep easily for some reason.

I think I know what you mean. When I'm going to sleep (or wondering if I'm awake yet or if there's more sleep in me), I'll know I'm nearly asleep because my mind will suddenly think up something random like a dream, or take what I imagined and suddenly something happens that I didn't actively think 'myself'.

I don't think, that's a guaranteed way to spiral myself into bad thoughts and a rough night.

I do empty my mind each night. Sleep happens quickly and I don't remember any dreams.

I make lists in my head, like of movies or music or videogames. I usually fall asleep in a few minutes.

I don't think about anything. I'm just relieved I get to turn my mind off for the night.

i try not to think about anything. thinking about something usually keeps me awake more than it helps me get to sleep.

I have a handful of scenarios/lives that I keep working on. One is where me and a group of friends are building a survival community during an apocalypse ect.

I've taken recently to falling asleep while listening to history or astrology videos on youtube so I guess I'm probably thinking about those things.

I've basically perfected forcing myself to sleep, so I think of just about everything on that list, then think of nothing for like 3 minutes and pass out.

I think about having fantasy houses. Like having a Japanese style hot spring pool that opens out to the outside. And into the distance, there is a snowy mountain. And bright moon light in the night sky.

Stuff like that.

My mind is a barren wasteland of self-loathing and despair, with the only thoughts in it being extremely upsetting, to the point that I can't sleep if I'm thinking.

So I put on a Game Grumps playlist, turn off the monitor, and focus on the conversations and jokes I've heard a thousand times before until I fall asleep.

How long have you been building that?

I go to sleep quick, so it takes me 5 nights just to imagine opening a car door and getting in.

I just lay down and go to sleep when I get tired. If I think about stuff, it usually means I'm not tired enough to fall asleep.
