It's pretty clear that specializing in a single field doesn't make you an arbiter of all science. There's surgeons who have no fucking idea about virology or chemistry. Lit Professors who don't have a clue about amino acids, RNA and proteins.

But people will listen to guys like Jordan Peterson all the same, and it's because of a human survival mechanism in forming group identities, which is being knowingly abused by NewsCorp owned TV and Radio to keep people distracted from class warfare.
