I've only seen

The Incredible Hulk
Iron Man 1, 2 and 3
Thor 1 and 2
Avengers 1
Guardians of the Galaxy 1 (found it quite boring)

Looking through IMDb, it seems like the main ones to see are

All the Avengers films
Captain America 3
The Spiderman remakes (I've only seen Toby Maguire version)
Thor 3

Spiderman aren't remakes but yes most are worth watching. You can probably skip The Eternals. It's pretty disconnected from the greater MCU.

They're not all worth seeing at a midnight release but they're all generally worth watching imo.

it's a fun, continuous franchise, where you often see a good depiction of some of your favorite characters (assuming you liked any Marvel characters).

If you like superheroes its the gold standard. And Disney Plus makes it super easy now. I collected the Saga as it came out but buying it all now would be cost prohibitively expensive for most to watch every movie. D+ solves that

Yes and no. I enjoyed watching but when i was done i felt like i forgot the entire movie.

Well you already got through most of the worst ones in the infinity saga at least.

You may as well watch all of them tbh. At the absolute worse (Eternals), you get a 6/10 film with some dumb jokes and fun visual effects.

The MCU is essentially the fast food of entertainment and I don't mean that as an insult. Sometimes you get a Big Mac that came fresh off the grill with lettuce right outta the bag (ie, Endgame), but it's going to taste fine and fill you up regardless.

Could just get to End Game and stop.

I agree. There were bad films before endgame but there were a fair few decent ones too and it all felt cohesive enough to warrant watching the weaker ones.

Since endgame the standard has generally been appalling and its also much more disjointed and lacking in direction as a whole.

pretty much nailed it

I watched all of them through Endgame for the first time the month after covid lockdowns started and there weren't any I didn't like. I've only watched up to No Way Home for the post-Endgame stuff so far though

The constant quips take me out of the experience. I like the first few Marvel movies because they didn't feel the need to offset every serious moment with a jokey joke.

I like them all but I'm way into super heroes

Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is much better than the first 1. And it deals with some heavy emotional stuff

Infinity War and Endgame are 2 parts of a single story. That was the climax of a built up plot that every movie before Infinity War was setting up

Spider-Man No Way Home is kinda like the Endgame of Spider-Man. It's very good

Shang Chi is good. I dont know what people have against it. My Chinese sister loved it. It's the Black Panther of Asian marvel

And Black Panther is good btw. I have not seen the sequel yet

The Antman movies are fun. Nothing super serious or important but they are funny

You forgot the Netflix and Disney plus exclusive spin offs. But honestly all of them are solid.

Youll get nothing close to a consensus. My advice, maybe just watch one a week or something and make your own opinion

Of the ones you have watched the only ones I really like are avengers 1 and guardians 1, the rest are ok
