I started Midnight In Chernobyl, and Indianapolis about the war ship that sank. Didn't finish either one though. I like reading about big disasters. I did like Killer Show, about the Station Nightclub fire in the 90's, but it's horrific. It totally changed how I feel about crowded spaces.

I've really enjoyed 1177 B.C.: The Year Civilization Collapsed, about the almost complete collapse of most late bronze age civilizations. Brainwash: The Secret History of Mind Control is a pretty good one about CIA's mind control experiments during the Cold War.
