I don't think I've played since before the Definitive Edition was released, and that was, what, 4 years ago? Maybe I'll actually finish the game this time, since last time my interest had petered out by the time I got to Act 4.

Are Huntsman builds still as stupidly OP as they used to be? I remember my archer being the strongest character by far in the party.

I've never been a D&D player, so I wouldn't really know

I've been meaning to go back through this game. I stopped after I got to the 3rd act, I think.

I just picked it up a few days ago again. Do it.

I stopped right after Act 2 about a year or two ago since school picked up. I completely forgot what I was doing.

If you don't mind running the same campaign repeatedly absolutely.
Pathfinder games are also really good.

Do you mean that playing the campaign gives a similar feeling to playing a D&D campaign? If so, not really. It's just a standard WRPG. None of these will really replicate the feel of a pen and paper game, unless you're just looking to do combat in D&D.

I think I'm gonna just start with another huntsman or rogue, but I'm open to suggestions.

Play a greatsword warrior that uses necromancy.

Tbh corpse explosion is insanely powerful, and the fused version of it is bonkers.
Telekinesis + corpse explosion is a combo everyone should try.

Necromancy spells also scale off physical damage mostly, so it pairs really well with a fighter type.

The way I hear it is that a 2-2 split is usually fine, it's just a 3-1 split that's bad, since it makes the lone magic/physical attacker useless.
